Sant Julià de Lòria is the southernmost parish in the whole of the Principality of Andorra. The parish has the lowest elevations in the whole of the Principality, enjoying a more temperate temperature, with milder winters than the other parishes in the principality. Sant Julià de Lòria is the parish where the Spanish border with Andorra is located. It is the obligatory starting point of the southern border to access by road to Spain, where the first city we find is La Seu d’Urgell. Sant Julià de Lòria has 9,706 inhabitants spread over an area of 61 km².
